Document Description
The purpose of this project is to improve storm water drainage and modernize the trail network above the MX track. As a result, all of the trails in this area will be rested, rehabbed, rerouted or utilized to continue to provide recreation in the project area. The existing trail network is 6,496ft. Appoximately 3,000 feet of original trail design will be kept, 500 ft of trail will be rehabbed, 2,900 ft of trail will be rested, and 1900 ft will be rerouted. Portions of the original trail design lack a typical modern trail design used to facilitate storm water drainage. The reroute will allow for more sustainable trail layout. The new trail layout will be used for special events and general public access. The total disturbed earth will be approximately 0.22 acres.
