Document Description
Using only state funds, the California Department of Transportation will create a permanent disposal site for material generated from maintenance and construction activites. The site is located on the south side of 299 approx. 3 west of the City of Burney in Shasta County. Caltrans will purchase a portion of the adjacent private road for access to the site. The area of disposal is parallelogram-shaped with sides approx. 225 and 205 ft. long. This creates a disposal area a little over one acre in size.
