Sierra County Fire Safe and Watershed Council, Inc. (SCFSWCI) is requesting $348,850 in funding from the Sierra Nevada Conservancy's Proposition 84 of Ranches and Agricultural Lands Grant Program for implementation of a noxious weed control program. The project would treat existing populations of noxious weeds within private and public ranching lands in the upper Long Valley Creek Watershed. The project would be implemented for three years within the upper Long Valley Creek riparian corridor, adjacent upland areas, and tributaries.
