The nature of the project includes improvements and reconstruction of the corridor including removal and replacement of existing roadbed and asphalt pavement, addition of turn lanes, striping, addition of three traffic signals, installing signs, reconstruction of affected sidewalks, addition of missing segments of sidewalks, including ADA ramps, and addressing localized flooding by adding a piped outlet, and replacement of an existing retaining wall.
