Document Description
The U.S. Corps of Engineers proposes to conduct a geotechnical study with borings and potholing adjacent to the Marysville Ring Levee. As part of the study, 36 borings would be drilled and up to 50 potholes would be excavated to determine soil type, straiigraphy, slope stability, and the location of underground utilities. All borings would be eight inches in diameter and between five and 100 feet deep, and would be backfilled with a bentonite-cement growth and covered with topsoil, asphalt, or cement to match pre-existing surface conditions.
