Document Description
This project, to be carred out by the California Urban Forests Council involves the planting of 2000 trees in the Bay Area and the San Joaquin Valley. It is anticipated that this proejct will commence in March 2013, and be completed by March 2015. Trees will be native and non-native ornamentals that have been selected for their disease resistance, adaption to the urban landscape, shade capacity, and minimal litter production. Trees will be planted using 15 gallon commercial stock. All trees will be planted, staked and tied, watered and maintained in accordance with CAL FIRE guidelines.
