Document Description
The purpose of the Proposed Project is to replace/augment existing water supplies in Ukiah Valley in Mendocino County, Ca. Recycled water use within the Ukiah Valley would offset existing and future water demands for irrigation and frost protection of agricultural land, and in doing so, would support the local agricultural industry. It would also offset urban irrigation demands, ease storage limitations at the Ukiah Wastewater Treatment Plant (UWWTP), and reduce treated wastewater discharges to the Russian River. The Addendum assesses the effects of minor changes to the alignments of recycled water facilities in order to achieve design efficiencies. In addition, this Addendum also provides additional environmental analysis to evaluate the potential effects of reducing discharges to the Russian River as a result of implementing the Proposed Recycled Water Project.
