Document Description
The Coastal Element of the County's Local Coastal Program includes a Public Works Policy that states public services such as water and sewer cannot be extended outside of the designated Urban Services Area unless specifically accepted from this restriction by the policy. The Airport Authority is proposing that an exception be added to the policy to allow for the extension of public water and sewer to the Del Norte County Regional Airport. The Airport Authority has determined that connecting to the public utilities is the best alternative for the long term operation of the airport facility with respect to public health and firefighting capacity.
