The subject parcel is located on Forks Placer Mine Road which adjoins Ward Field. The zoning for the subject parcel is single family residential; the proposed airplane hangar is considered an accessory to the principal (residential) allowed use. The standard height and size restrictions for accessory buildings is 16-feet in height and 1,200 sf in area; exceeding these limits requires a use permit. The proposed hangar is indicated to be 3,360 sf in area and 15-feet in height.
