Document Description
Pursuant to the Federal Power Act (FPA) and Federal Energy Regulatory Commission regulations, Pacific Gas and Electric Company filed an application to surrender its license for the Kilarc-Cow Creek Hydroelectric Project, FERC Project No. 606 (Hydro Project) to FERC on March 12, 2009. PG&E proposes to decommission and remove or modify several project features, including removal of diversion dams, reservoirs, canals, and all hydroelectric generation equipment. Some Hydro Project features such as dam abutments and historic buildings would remain in place.
