The project consists of the approval of a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) for the County of Fresno South Fresno Regional Groundwater Plume, Operable Unit 2 (OU2) pursuant to Section 25356.1 of the CA Health & Safety Code, Division 20, Chapter 6.8) as submitted by the FMC Corporation. The RAP summarizes the results of the Remedial Investigation (RI), Risk Assessment (RA), Feasibility Study (FS) activities and represents the methodology that DTSC has established for the final selection remedy document to address groundwater contaminants at the OU2 site. The proposed project consists of pumping groundwater with relatively low concentrations of contaminants.
