Document Description
DTSC is considering approval of a Remedial Action Plan (RAP) for the County of Fresno - South Fresno Regional Groundwater Plume, Operable Unit 2 (hereafter "the OU2 site" or "project site") pursuant to Section 25356.1 of the CA Health & Safety Code, Division 20, Chapter 6.8) and the DTSC Remedial Action Plan Policy effective 5 December 1995, Document No. EO-95-007-PP (DTSC, 1995) as submitted by the FMC Corporation. The Draft RAP summarizes the results of the Remedial Investigation (RI), Risk Assessment, Feasibility Study activities and represents the methodology that DTSC has established for the final selection remedy document to address groundwater contaminants at the OU2 site including bromodichloromethane (BDCM), carbon tetrachloride, chloroform, chromium (VI), DBCP, dieldrin, nitrate, PCE, TCE, and 1,2,3-TCP. The proposed project consists of pumping groundwater with relatively low concentrations of contaminants (listed above) from the groundwater system that was initially installed and operated as a removal action under the 2000 RAW, and is currently in operation.
