Document Description
Note: Extended per lead The ALUCP will promote compatibility between SDIA and the land uses that surround the Airport to the extent that these areas are not already devoted to incompatible uses. The SDIA ALUCP would accomplish this by regulating the future development of new residential dwellings, commercial structures and other noise - or risk-sensitive uses within the airport influence area (AIA) based on multiple factors established by the ALUCP, including location relative to safety zones, CNEL contours, airspace protection surfaces and areas subject to aircraft overflight. The ALUCP limits the future development of specified uses in certain portions of the AIA, conditionally limits the future development of these uses in certain portions of the AIA, and permits these uses without limitation in yet other portions.
