The City of Highland has completed its Update to the General Plan Housing Element (Chapter 8) in accordance with the CA Government Code Section 65585 and 65588. The proposed update (amendments) represent a comprehensive update of the City's Housing Element (2014-2021) Planning Period) to bring it into compliance with State Housing. The State of CA Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) is currently reviewing the City's "Draft 2014-2021 Housing Element".
