Document Description
The District proposes to construct and operate a new middle school and a central kitchen. The middle school would have 95,000 square feet of building area, including: a 70,000-square-foot main building with 35 classrooms, library/media room, multipurpose room, administration, and food service facility; and a 25,000-square-foot physical education building with a gymnasium and locker rooms. Outdoor athletic facilities would include two softball fields, a running track surrounding a football/soccer field, and hard courts. Approximately 190 parking spaces would be provided onsite for faculty, staff, and guests. The project also includes a self-contained central kitchen adjacent to the new Perris Middle School. The kitchen facility would be used for storage of foods and supplies, assembly of school meals, and consolidation and delivery of meals to schools, and a 30-space parking lot.
