The CA Dept. of Resources Recycling and Recovery administers the RMDZ program that combines recycling with economic development to support manufacturers using recycled materials located in an RMDZ with attractive loans, technical assistance, and free product marketing. The program term is 10 years. The goals are to support manufacturers, create jobs, and divert waste from landfills.
