Document Description
The proposed project involves the demolition of the existing of District Community Education Support Complex and its reconstruction and expansion to consolidate all District administrative operations at the project site. The first phase would include acquisition of an adjoining property, development of the transportation hub, including Building C, and Building B to house the District's Facilities, Maintenance and Operations, Technology, and Purchasing departments. The transportation hub would accommodate all of the District's transportation functions and would include fueling stations for compressed natural gas (CNG), diesel, and gasoline. The second phase would include development of a two-story, 90,000 sf building complex to accommodate the remaining District administration offices and existing community/senior center. Project plans identify 747 parking spaces, including 118 for school bus parking. The project would require offsite improvements, including adjoining roadways, and new pipeline connections for potable water, sewer, and gas services. Phase 1 would start February 2014 and end September 2015. Phase 2 would start May 2014 and end November 2015. Some construction activities may overlap.
