Document Description
The project is the rehabiliation repair of City Hall, located in downtown Atascadero, which was damaged by the 6.5 San Simeon Earthquake of December 22, 2003. The building houses two separate and distinct rotunda spaces on the first and fourth floors in the center of the buildig with offices ringing the perimeter. The first floor rotunda was designed to be a mesum to showcase agricultural and minteral products. The fourth floor rotunda was planned to be the community library. The project includes structural repair and seismic strengthening of City Hall. Atascadero City Hall has multiple historic ratings, including the National Register of Historic Places and California Registered Historical Landmark.
