The purpose of the project si to construct a new box culvert to replace an existing timber bridge crossing Packwood Creek. The project is intended to improve function and safety. The project also includes the construction of wing walls, installation of rip-rap for erosion control, and other appurtenant elements necessary to complete the crossing to current standards. The beneficiaries of activity/project are the general public and the residents of the County of Tulare.
