SAA #1600-2012-0207-R5 - Perform regular vegetation maintenance, four to six times a year, within 16.98 acres of open space within Continuing Life Communities, University Village. Maintenance activities include: thinning of brush, trimming and skirting of shrubs and trees, removal of flammable plant species, removal of non-native invasive plants, removal of dead wood, supplemental planting and removal of trash. Additionally, Ventura Coutny Fire Department (VCFD) requires annual brush clearance within 100 feet of structures to provide defensible space.
