Document Description
Project will augment public workshops demonstrating rainwater harvesting technologies. Goal is to promote water conservation and protect salmonid habitat by showing how to avoid the need to mine surface water during critical seasons. Project will consist of 600'-1000' 2-inch or smaller PVC pipe, buried under existing, gently sloping lawns, and paths, and multiple low-profile dark-green polyethylene water storage tanks at lower and upper reaches of the 3.2 acre property providing up to total storage capacity of 30,000 gallons.
