Document Description
Phase 1 of the project involves the removal of non-native, invasive vegetation species, Eucalyptus, Castor Bean, etc, in the riparian and adjacent upland habitats within the project site. Control of invasive non-native plants is essential to the success of the next phase of the project, which would restore the riparian and wetland habitat. Foliar spraying and cut stump treatment of specific herbicides would be used by a licensed applicator. No native plant species would be destroyed and the existing soil would not be disturbed. Breeding season avoidance would be adhered to during the removal activities.
