Document Description
The existing Town of Mammoth Lakes Transit Facility consists of a 12,000 square foot building on a 1.5 acre lot. This enhancement project will improve upon existing facilities to accommodate existing maintenance, vehicle storage, and general operations. This project will expand the transit facility onto an underutilitzed portion of the lot that was up until last year utilized as an impound yard. The project will be designed and planned so that it can be constructed in phases as funding allows. The initial phase scheduled for summer of 2013 will improve the unused portions of the property and will include stormwater facilities, lighting, and a rehabilitated parking area. Future phases will complement and expand new infrasructure to mitigate the need to reconstruct.
