Document Description
This project proposes to treat 85 acres of the existing 160 acre fuel break located in Auberry, CA in the Beal Fire Contorl Road. Brush and small diameter trees will be treated within 300-400 feet of the fire road to reduce the potential for crown fire spread and to eliminate existing fuel ladders. A minimum of 50% of the understory and overstory vegetation will be removed primarily through mastication.
