Document Description
SAA # 1600-2012-0185-R2, SMUD's proposed modification to the Buck Island Dam weir consists of removal of the existing weir using hand tools, and construction of a new weir in the same location with a low flow measuring box incorporated into the design. The new weir design will be similar to the existing weir and be generally in the same alignment. Improvements to the weir design include the addition of a low flow measuring box which will enable measurement of flows at low levels.
