Document Description
The CA Caltrans, proposes operational improvements to (SR) 200 between (PM) 45.7 & 46.2 in Trinity County. Additionally, Caltrans proposes to construct a roadside material disposal site within the project limits. The existing section of highway with the project limits is a conventional two-lane highway with 11ft. lanes and 0.5 to 2 ft. paved shoulders. The proposed project will widen the existing roadway by series of cuts and added fills, provide 8 feet paved shoulders and an improved clear recovery zone. Super-elevation runoff lengths, drainage facilities and guardrail, will be improved, to meet current Design Standards. Completion of these improvements will require vegetation and tree removal, new overlay, striping and makers. Also, a new roadside material disposal site will access road will be constructed below the highway.
