Document Description
Using both State and Federal funds, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), will repair the surface of approximately 8.7 (mi) of (SR) 70 within Plumas County beginning approximately 4 (mi) west of the City of Quincy and ending near the City's east end. Other work will include restriping traffic lanes and milling the overlay section to match existing curb and gutter height. Except for parking, staging, and material stockpiling, all work will remain with the existing roadbed hinge points. The pavement is at the age where a preventative type treatment is needed to extend the service life of the road before it needs major rehabilitation.
