Document Description
This project will improve the streetscape and bicycle and pedestrian mobility by adding bulb-outs, water-efficient landscaping, trees, banners, bike racks, and street lights to this corridor of 16th Street. The project is located on 16th Street, beginning at the alley north of N Street and continuing south to S Street. In addition, the project proposes banners on the street lights, replacing the overhead sign structure with a neighborhood district identifying sign, and including storm waer planters and bioswales. This project will also improve the existing frontage between "O" and "P" Streets with removal of parking to provide more room for sidewalk, planter, and cafe seating.
