Document Description
DWR will re-grade an existing road as needed to provide access to the station location near the downstream project boundary of the OWA. A pipe gate will be installed in concrete at the end of Almond Avenue and the road will be reestablished for station installation, maintenance and security use. The road is approximately 0.3 miles in length and some minor grading and site leveling will be performed. An approximately 4' by 4' concrete slab will be placed at the site with a pre-fabricated pipe housing structure (approx. 14" diameter by 10' tall) placed on the foundation. A 2" diameter conduit pipe will run from the gage house along the bank surface down to 5' below the water surface.
