Document Description
Using only State funds, the California Department of Transportaion (Caltrans) will improve the roadway on 0.2 (mi) of (SR) 36, just west of the community of Forest Glen in Trinity County. The improvements will include: Reconstructing the roadway by removing and replacing the existing pavement and base: upgrading (3) roadside drainage systems; and reconstructing the metal beam guard rail. Shoulder backing will be added to accommodate the new pavement. Parking, staging, and material stockpiling will occur at existing pull-outs within the project limits.
