The NGB proposes to implement the construction of a new JP-8 jet fuel storage complex at Fresno-Yosemite IAP in Fresno, CA. The Proposed Action would involve the removal of the existing underground storage tanks (USTs) and the addition of two aboveground storage tanks (ASTs). In addition, they propose the return of a 16-acre parcel to Fresno-Yosemite IAP. This would include the demolition of all existing facilities currently on the 16-acre parcel. The proposed construction of the new jet fuel storage complex would begin in Fiscal Year 2015. The demolition of the MCRC facilities and the return of the parcel would occur prior to the termination of the lease in August 2014. No other construction, renovation, or demolition is proposed at the installation. There would be no changes to the number of personnel.
