Document Description
The California Department of Fish and Game is executing Lake or Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2012-0156-R2, pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game code to the project applicant, Westervelt Ecological Services. The project consists solely of restoration activities on 17.58 acre portions of the previously established 469 acre Swainson's Preserve. The project proposes to restore degraded riparian habitat along approximately 1,800 linear feet of an unnamed tributary to Coon Creek, re-establish 5 acres of seasonal wetlands, the re-vegetation of 10 acres of native scrub-shrub wetlands, and the planting of 2 acres of native oak savanna.
