- Document Description
- The project consists of a 9.2-mile, 14-station. al-grade light rail transit (LRT) line that would be located in the median of Van Nuys Blvd from the Metro G Line on the south to the Van Nuys Blvd/San Fernando Rd intersection where it would transition to the Metro owned railroad right-of-way continuing north lo the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink station. Metro is proposing lo construct the project in phases, with the first phase. or Initial Operating Segment. extending from the Metro G Line to the San Fernando Rd and Nuys Blvd intersection. The project also includes a new LRT maintenance and storage facility, which would be located immediately west of Van Nuys Boulevard and south of the Metrolink Ventura Line railroad right-of-way.
