Note: Extended Per Lead
Four build alternatives, a transportation system management alternative, and a no-build alternative are being evaluated. The TSM would upgrade existing bus service in the study area w/o the investment in a dedicated ROW. The build alternatives would operate over 9.2 miles, either in a dedicated bus lane or guideway and/or in mixed-flow traffic lanes, from the Sylmar/San Fernando Metrolink Station to the Van Nuys Metro Orange Line Station, with the exception of LRT, which includes a 2.5-mile segment within Metro-owned RR ROW adjacent to San Fernando Rd and Truman St and a 2.5-mi underground segment beneath Panorama City and Van Nuys.
