The California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) has executed Streambed Alteration Agreement number 1600-2020-0101-R6, pursuant to section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Omya, Inc., represented by Craig Maetzold. The project is limited to the expansion of the Sentinel and
Butterfield Quarries, multi-bench open pit mines, where ore is drilled and blasted about once per week for each quarry. The specific project activities that will impact Fish and Game Code section 1602 resources are the expansion of the B5 Pad, Butterfield Quarry, and Central Area. The project will result in 0.18 acre of permanent
impacts to streambed
