Caltrans in cooperation with the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), using funding provided by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), is proposing to add turn lanes at three sites along SR 165 to improve access and safety. The proposed work would occur at the intersection with Wolfsen Road, at the Blue Goose Cache Fire Station access road, and at the entrance to the Freitas Boat Launch and parking area.
