Document Description
The proposed project would allow the Water Replenishment District of Southern CA to offset the current use of imported water with a combined total of 21,000 acre-feet per year (AFY) of both tertiary and advanced water treatment (AWT) recycled water for groundwater replenishment in the Central Basin via the Montebello Forebay. A new AWT plant would be constructed at or adjacent to the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts' (LACSD) San Jose Creek Water Reclamation Plant (SJCWRP) site for treating recycled water from SJCWRP prior to recharge.
