Document Description
VPC proposes the installation and operation of twelve (12) natural gas-fired 85.0 MMBtu/hr steam generators in three (3) phases. The new steam generators will be equipped with North American 4231-85 GLE (or equivalent) burners and flue gas recirculation (FGR_ system and will be located in two (2) specified project sites within VPC's Heavy Oil Central Stationary Source (Facility S-1326) in the Kern Front Oil Field, Kern County, California. The steam generators are necessary to produce steam for existing and future oil recovery operations. The applicant intends to stage construction of the steam generators over the next three (3) years.
