Document Description
The proposed project entails a widening of the existing turf track at the Del Mar Fairgrounds by 25% or 129,100 sf New bedding material (gravel, sand, and peat) for the turf would be imported. To accommodate the widening of the track, the existing inside rail would be moved further inward so as to avoid any interference with the polytrack. There would be no modifications made to the outside of the existing track. There are additional features that would be modified or added to the track during this process.
