Document Description
The Department of Water Resources (DWR) will repair current washed out, heavily eroded trail and install new culvert to prevent future drainage problems. Repair of trail and installation of culvert is needed to provide proper drainage of areas and maintain a safe,user friendly trail for the public. DWR will clear pre-existing ditch that runs along the west side of the Brad Freeman Bike Trail that is currently filled with sediment (approximately 150 feet lenght); create a sump (~3 x 3 x 2 feet) for sediment collection at culvert mouth; and install a culvert that will run from the sump, under the trail, to the east side of the trail near the pre-existing drainage area.
