If the CCF Dam fails or the West Canal levee breaches, it will compromise the SWP's ability to deliver water to millions of Californians; therefore, ensuring its safe and proper functioning is a high priority for DWR. By installing seepage flow monitoring devices and repairing beaver den damage, this project will help ensure that CCF facilities are safe and fully operational.
