Document Description
Caltrans proposes an Airspace Lease Agreement with the California Highway Patrol (CHP), to lease a portion of the Burney Maintenance Station (Facility #L5705) as a resident office. The agreement would allow the CHP to lease an existing temporary structure and accoutrements. The maintenance station is located in the town of Burney on (SR) 299. An Airspace lease agreement allowing the CHP to occupy a portion of the Burney Maintenance Station will not interfere and/or substantially change the operation of the facility; anticipated future transportation needs; or the safety and security of the facility for both highway and non-highway users.
