Document Description
The Tulare Lake Basin Water Storage District will transfer up to 10,000 acre-feet of its 2013 State Water Project Table A Water to Kern County Water Agnecy on behalf of JG Boswell Company who farms in both Districts. The Transfer will be completed in 2014. This proposed transfer is designed to enable both Kern's and Tulare's water users to better manage their respective water supplies. No lands will be fallowed as a result of the transfer and no additional groundwater will be pumped. The lands have been actively farmed in the past.
