Document Description
CAES is an energy storage option whereby ccompressed air is injected into a natural gas or aquifer storage reservoir deep beneath the earth's surface when energy is inexpensive. Then, when energy demands are great, the air is released back to the surface to power high efficiency natural gas turbines.
