Document Description
The Permittee proposes to remove all downed palm tree trunks, vines and non-native vegetation such as Myoporum, pepper trees, Arundo, and dead or dying eucalyptus trees from the channel. The Permittee needs to establish a 70-foot wide fire break just below the bluff. Within the fire break, native trees maybe pruned to a height of 6 feet and dead branches maybe removed, beyond the 70-feet, the native trees shall be untouched. Native plant species shall be planted within the channel, outside of the 70-foot fire break. No work shall be done in the active low flow channel. SAA #1600-2012-0132-R5.
