Document Description
For the purposes of CEQA review, the proposed project consists of the adoption of the Newman Non-Motorized Transportation Plan (NMTP). The Plan represents the City's first comprehensive bicycle and pedestrian planning effort. The Plan integrates the existing planning and policies related to bicycling and walking, including the Newman General Plan and the StanCOG Re-gional Transportation Plan. The City of Newman is the lead agency for the planning effort, and will be responsible for the implementation of the recommended projects and policies.
