- Document Description
- The project consists of construction of a 227-space temporary public surface parking lot adjacent to City Hall with renovation of an existing restroom facility to provide public restrooms with outdoor showers. A new or relocated mobile coach will be sited adjacent to Capitola Road that will be used for a City Police Department office and storage. Improvements include a pedestrian walkway, landscaping, and retaining wall replacement. The City intends to use the parking lot until such time that a permanent parking structure is developed on the adjacent City-owned public parking lot. Currently there is no schedule or funding for development of the parking garage. Future uses for the project site will be identified and considered at a later date when the lot is closed. No specific future uses of the property have been proposed at this time.
