Document Description
The District proposes to conduct site improvements to the C.W. Dillard Elementary School campus, and an adjacent District-owned parcel. The District plans to demolish all structures with the exception of the multi-purpose room which would remain after the completion of renovation activities. The proposed project would be developed in four phases which would result in the construction of a two-story building with 9 overflow classrooms and a teacher workroom in the southern area of the school, a child care building in the northern area of the school, and 192 total parking stalls. In addition, the adjacent undeveloped District-owned parcel to the east would be partially developed to support elementary school operations. The current school enrollment is approximately 425 students. With the additional school improvements, at build-out, the capacity of the school is projected to be approximately 875. Project development would begin in June 2013, and be completed in September 2015.
