Document Description
The existing un-lined central sludge drying beds would be replaced with 14 concrete-lined beds at the same location. The project footprint would be ~4.0 acres, within the existing 24 acre Laguna County Sanitation District Wastewater Treatment Plant. Each new sludge bed would be 32 feet wide and 162 feet long. Drainage and decanted wastewater from each of the 14 sludge drying beds would be collected in a common manifold and drained by gravity to a small lift station to be constructed near the northwest corner of Pond A.
