Parks and open space/Open Space, Residential, Agriculture and Public Facilities/Open Space, Residential, and Public Facilities
The project would designate some of the existing trails and would develop new trails that would be known as the Park to Playa Trail. As part of this Project, the designated trail alignment would be improved through the resurfacing, widening, and realigning of some sections of the existing trails; by providing fencing, wayfinding signs, and trailhead facilities (i.e., information kiosks, shade structures, benches, bike racks, and trash cans); landscaping with native plants and restoring habitat in disturbed areas adjacent to the trail; and reconstructing sidewalks, bike lanes, and a drainage channel.
